A specialist school in Gloucester is looking for a Psychology Graduate to join its support team as a Learning Support Assistant. This full-time opportunity provides valuable experience working with pupils with additional learning, communication, emotional and behavioural needs. As a Psychology Graduate, you will: Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis. Help identify barriers to learning and emotional wellbeing. Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation. Support communication, social skills and independence. Work alongside teachers, pastoral staff and specialist professionals. This Psychology Graduate role is an excellent opportunity to put your degree knowledge into practice. You will develop your understanding of child development, behaviour, neurodiversity and mental health while building strong relationships with pupils. As a Psychology Graduate, you will gain experience that can provide a strong foundation for future training in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Teaching or Speech and Language Therapy. Previous experience with children or vulnerable people is useful, but not essential.
