In the position of Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be valued as a vital team member and will be supported in your own individual success and well-being. Your role may include, but not be limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Supporting children’s behaviour for learning in the classroom.
  • Helping children with their understanding of the teacher’s instructions.
  • Working with individual learners in the classroom 1:1, or working with individuals or small groups in the Learning Support department.
  • Keeping track and recording pupil progress.
