Academics are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary Supply Teachers and PPA / Cover Staff to work in schools across the Southampton area. As a Primary Supply Teacher or PPA Cover Staff, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging lessons, managing classrooms effectively, and ensuring students thrive academically. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a range of schools in the Southampton area, helping to create positive and dynamic learning environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to primary-aged students in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Provide PPA cover and maintain high-quality teaching standards across year groups.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring students remain focused and engaged.
  • Build strong relationships with students and staff across different schools.
  • Adapt teaching styles to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Ensure classroom resources are used effectively to enhance the learning experience.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and positive school environment, following safeguarding policies.

To be considered to join our team of Primary Supply Teachers you must:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Be experienced in teaching across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
  • Have good classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in lessons.
  • Ensure flexibility to adapt to new school settings and year groups.
  • Show commitment to delivering high-quality education and fostering student success.
  • Live locally to Southampton or be willing to commute.
