Are you an experienced, enthusiastic, and compassionate Primary SEN Teacher ready for your next meaningful role? A well-regarded primary school in Bushey is seeking a talented individual to join its newly established SEN Hub — a dedicated and nurturing space that provides personalised support for pupils with additional needs.

This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, term time only), ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to helping every child reach their full potential.

The HUB: Launched as part of Hertfordshire’s expansion of specialist provision, the school’s new SEN Hub is a Primary Support Base (PSB) designed to work with children who are at risk of exclusion. With capacity for up to 12 pupils, this in-reach provision provides a tailored learning experience within a safe, supportive, and structured setting. The goal? To equip every child with the emotional, social, and academic tools they need to transition successfully back into mainstream education or continue thriving within specialist support.

The Hub operates with a trauma-informed, relational approach and works closely with families, external professionals, and the wider school team to ensure a holistic, child-centred experience.

As the Primary SEN Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs and learning needs.
* Provide targeted interventions and consistent emotional support to promote both academic and personal development.
* Work closely with a team of Teaching Assistants, therapists, and school leaders to review progress and adapt support plans.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels seen, heard, and supported.
* Engage with families and carers to build strong, collaborative partnerships.

What we and the school are looking for:

* A qualified Primary Teacher with substantial experience supporting children with a range of SEN (including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and MLD).
* A strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and positive behaviour strategies.
* Someone who is calm under pressure, highly adaptable, and deeply passionate about inclusive education.
* An excellent communicator who can inspire trust and build strong relationships with pupils and professionals alike.

Why join this school?

* Be part of a school community that prioritises inclusion, empathy, and holistic growth.
* Join a passionate team within a brand-new provision where your ideas and experience will help shape the future.
* Access professional development opportunities and the support of a forward-thinking multi-academy trust.
* Make a real impact on the lives of children who need it most.
