We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated Pre-school Lead / Pre-school Manager to support and oversee the early years provision within this successful Primary school. This successful early years setting is based within a Primary school in the Oldbury area. This is a great opportunity for a passionate early childhood professional to help maintain a high-quality learning environment and support young children in their early development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the preschool room/setting.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Support the planning and delivery of an engaging early years curriculum.
  • Guide, mentor, and support preschool staff within the room.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and early years regulations.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider community.
  • Monitor children's development and support their individual learning needs.

Requirements

  • Relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above; degree desirable).
  • Previous experience working in an early years setting, with leadership or room lead experience preferred.
  • Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
