Academics are looking for primary teaching assistants to work in schools on a supply basis. Whether you are free 1 day a week or 5 days a week, we have work for you. We have plenty of work we can offer you in a number of primary schools across Portsmouth. The good news is that Academics want you, no matter your specialism or experience. You may find that working as a teaching assistant on your own hours, your own terms and only when you want to work gives you the work-life balance that so many educators do not receive from permanent roles.

The ideal candidate:

  • Have a current DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
  • Be available on a part-time or full-time basis.
  • Have experience of the current KS1 or 2 UK curriculum.
