The Role
As a Welsh Medium Primary Teacher, you could be working across a range of primary schools and year groups in Pontypridd and surrounding areas. Responsibilities may include:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons in Welsh
- Working flexibly across a range of Primary Schools in RCT
- Planning and delivering lessons in line with school expectations
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Adapting teaching approaches to meet different learning needs
- Working alongside teaching assistants and other school staff
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress where required
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
We're Looking For
- Qualified Primary Teacher with QTS - essential
- Fluent Welsh speaker - essential
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Adaptable and confident working across different schools and year groups
- Able to commute easily to schools in Pontypridd and surrounding areas
- Happy to work on a flexible and ad-hoc basis
