Academics Agency are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant with experience or a deep desire to support learners with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
Your Role:
- Position: Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant (PMLD Specialism)
- Location: Worksop, South Yorkshire
- Schedule: Term-time only, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Rate: £88.94 – £110 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)

We Are Looking For Someone With
- A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience or a strong, demonstrable interest in supporting individuals with PMLD or complex physical and learning needs.
- Understanding of specialist approaches such as sensory storytelling, switch skills, and promoting communication through AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) where applicable.
- A patient, positive, and proactive attitude, with a focus on promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.
- A firm commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one swiftly).
