Quantum Scholars is currently seeking experienced SEND Tutors, SEMH Tutors, and Learning Mentors to deliver personalised 1:1 and small-group tuition to primary and secondary-aged pupils across Hayes and the wider Hillingdon area. These roles involve supporting young people who are currently unable to access mainstream education, including pupils receiving EOTAS provision and learners with SEND, SEMH needs, autism, ADHD, anxiety, and emotionally based school avoidance.
With increasing demand for specialist tuition support, we have immediate opportunities available, alongside ongoing referrals throughout the academic year and into September.
The Role- Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group tuition in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science
- Support primary and secondary-aged pupils with a range of additional learning and emotional needs
- Work with learners with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, EBSA (emotionally based school avoidance), and alternative provision backgrounds
- Provide tuition within pupils' homes, schools, community settings, or online
- Flexible tutoring opportunities available, with many placements offering up to 5 days per week (approximately 3 hours per day)
- QTS or substantial tutoring experience
- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, EOTAS, or alternative provision needs is highly desirable
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and procedures
- Ability to travel across Hayes and the wider Hillingdon area
- Full Right to Work in the UK (please note that visa sponsorship is not available)
