Year 6 Teacher
to join a primary school in
Gravesend
from
January
on a full-time basis. This position would suit a teacher who enjoys creating an engaging classroom, has high expectations of pupils and is confident taking full ownership of their class.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Leading a Year 6 class on a full-time basis
Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum
Taking responsibility for planning, assessment and marking
Monitoring pupil progress and identifying areas for development
Supporting pupils as they prepare for secondary school
Creating a positive, structured and inclusive classroom
Working closely with colleagues, parents and the wider school team
We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
QTS - essential
Previous primary teaching experience, ideally within Year 6
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Excellent organisation and communication
Confidence working independently and taking responsibility for a class
A current
DBS , or willingness to apply for a new one
A
driving licence is preferred
