Year 5 TeacherFull-Time October-December 2026 | Part-Time January-July 2027Location: Gravesend, KentStart Date: October 2026Contract: Full-time initially, moving to part-timeQTS: EssentialDBS: Enhanced DBS requiredWe are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Gravesend .The successful candidate will teach full-time, 5 days per week, from October to December 2026 . From January 2027 through to July 2027 , the role will transition to part-time, 2-3 days per week , offering excellent flexibility for the remainder of the academic year.
The ideal candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5Be confident planning and delivering engaging lessonsHave strong classroom management skillsBe committed to supporting pupils' academic and personal developmentWork effectively as part of a supportive school teamHave a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new enhanced DBS immediatelyWhat the role offers: Full-time teaching from October-December 2026Part-time teaching, 2-3 days per week , from January-July 2027A supportive and welcoming school environmentThe opportunity to make a real difference to pupils' learning and developmentA role offering flexibility for the second half of the academic yearIf you are an experienced and passionate Year 5 Teacher with QTS and are looking for a role in Gravesend, we would love to hear from you!
