We are currently recruiting for a highly experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join an established, trusted supply agency supporting local schools and nursery settings on a daily, short‑term and long‑term basis. You will be supporting both local schools and private nurseries through a trusted supply agency, on a temporary basis for daily, short‑term and long‑term supply.

As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner you will be supporting children’s learning, including working with individuals, groups and whole classes using your extensive knowledge, experience and specialist skills/training. You will provide appropriate support to all children, contributing to a pleasant and suitable learning environment for each child in your care. You must be familiar and confident in the planning and delivery of the Early Years Curriculum, contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of children’s day‑to‑day responses to learning activities using a range of assessment and monitoring strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high‑quality pastoral and academic support to pupils within a school and nursery environment.
  • Assisting in fostering a positive, nurturing learning environment by implementing relevant behaviour management strategies in line with school and nursery policies.
  • Providing relevant support to children, assisting them with achieving individual learning goals. This can be through 1:1, small groups and whole‑class work.
  • Contributing to the implementation of the Early Years curriculum; planning, evaluating and implementing learning alongside the class teacher.
  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of every child at all times.
What are we looking for?
  • Qualified NVQ Level 3 Early Years Qualification (essential)
  • Brings strong, valuable experience of working with children in an EYFS setting.
  • A kind, supportive and nurturing nature in which you feel passionate about supporting children.
  • Availability to support supply needs on a daily basis or for shorter/longer‑term roles.
  • Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain)
  • Is able to commute to nurseries and schools in Penkridge/Stafford.
  • Is fully registered (or willing to register) with Academics.
