Have you had experience within the primary classroom, or are you someone who wants to take their first steps in classroom support?
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in a primary school in Oxford to be a part of their classroom support team. This role will be on a part time basis and we are recruiting multiple candidates for this position. This is the perfect opportunity for candidates who are looking for classroom experience, but don\βt have the availability to dedicate to a full-time position. This is also open to candidates who are looking to move to a slower pace of employment and would prefer reduced hours to their previous roles.
As a part time classroom support assistant, this primary school is looking for you to have previous experience of academic support, whether that has been in a primary setting or elsewhere. It is crucial that candidates can demonstrate that they have some background experience of assisting students through their learning.
There will also be an element of SEN support in this role, supporting SEN students on a 1:1 and small group basis, therefore, the ideal candidate will be open to providing assistance for pupils with additional needs. Prior experience of SEN support is not compulsory but is looked upon favourably.
In this role, you will:
* Provide excellent and dedicated support for the Class Teacher
* Dedicate time to helping students who need additional help in their classroom learning
