This incredible school are looking for a Youth Worker to come in and join their team, to support their students with their mental health and wellbeing.

What the role as a Youth Worker entails:

  • Fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for the students
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing any personalised educational plans or interventions
  • Provide the students with the right tools to manage and cope with their emotions
  • Facilitate a safe environment to learn

Your day to day as a Youth Worker:

  • Working alongside the class teacher to help the students reach their goals
  • Help manage any behaviour
  • Model correct coping strategies
  • Encourage the students to try their best
  • Support the students on their academic journey

The Successful Youth Worker will:

  • You will have some experience working with children
  • You will be passionate about education and helping children with their academic goals
  • You must understand the importance of safeguarding
  • You will be positive, enthusiastic and proactive
