Academics are currently working in partnership with a private nursery in Stafford that provides a safe, secure, and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to reach their full potential. The nursery prides itself on supporting each child's individual development, offering age-appropriate opportunities that nurture learning, creativity, and confidence.

We are therefore keen to hear from enthusiastic Nursery Assistants who have a genuine passion for Early Years and are committed to helping children thrive and develop on a daily basis. We welcome applications from individuals with experience in childcare. Above all, we are looking for candidates who demonstrate a strong passion for working with children, alongside excellent communication skills and a caring, proactive approach.

Our Nursery Assistants must have:

  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and a confident ability to support children's learning and development in line with these principles.
  • A Level 2 qualification in childcare, such as the Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (or above).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents alike.
  • A good sense of humour and a warm, approachable personality, helping to create a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment for young learners.
  • A genuine passion for pursuing a career in childcare, with a commitment to supporting children during these crucial early stages of development.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
