Role Details:
- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
- Pay: £95 - £105 per day
- Start Date: ASAP (trial days available now)
- Contract: Monday to Friday, term-time only
- Duration: Full academic year (with potential to become permanent)

About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant in an SEMH setting, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils aged 5-16 with social, emotional, and mental health needs, often alongside additional learning difficulties. You'll work closely with experienced staff, gaining hands-on training while helping pupils build trust, regulate emotions, and engage in learning. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement
- Assisting with learning, development, and wellbeing
- Supporting students with personal care needs where required, in a respectful and dignified manner
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Helping to create a structured, safe, and positive learning environment
This position is ideal for:
