Quantum Scholars are seeking qualified teachers and experienced SEND tutors to provide 1:1 tuition support within a secondary school setting in Norwich. This opportunity is based within an Outstanding-rated secondary school, supporting a small cohort of approximately 6 secondary and sixth form students who require personalised provision due to a range of SEND and medical needs. All tuition is delivered within the school environment, therefore applicants should be based locally to Norwich or within a commutable distance. You must have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.

The Role

  • Deliver 1:1 SEND tuition and intervention support within the school
  • Support secondary and sixth form students with additional needs
  • Provide tailored academic and pastoral support
  • Work closely with school staff and SEND teams
  • Flexible opportunities available depending on student allocation

This provision is expected to continue throughout the remainder of the academic year, with a strong likelihood of extending into September 2026 and beyond.

Requirements

  • QTS / QTLS or strong SEND tutoring experience
  • Experience supporting secondary-aged learners with SEND and/or medical needs
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Strong safeguarding understanding
  • Ability to work effectively within a school environment
