Role Details:

  • Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
  • Salary: Β£90- Β£105 per day (DOE)
  • Hours: Monday- Friday (8:30am- 3:30pm)
  • Start: ASAP
  • Contract: Term Time only

Key Responsibilities of an SEN TA:

  • Supporting learners in a classroom environment, on a 1:1 basis, and in targeted intervention groups to support their learning and personal development needs.
  • Help with creating a safe and encouraging environment to help the learners you are supporting thrive.
  • Assisting with learning and specific interventions to support social and emotional progress.
  • Monitoring achievements and helping students reach their full potential inside and outside the classroom.
  • Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed at all times.
  • Mentor learners so that they are able to express themselves in a safe and controlled way.

  • Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
