We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Alternative Provision Teaching Assistant to join an alternative provision setting in Gloucestershire. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build a rewarding career in education while making a difference to the lives of children and young people with additional needs. As an Alternative SEN Provision Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teaching and support staff to provide tailored support to learners who may require additional academic, emotional or behavioural support. Alternative Provision Teaching Assistant ~ Special Educational Needs (SEN) support work ~ Start ASAP ~£80-£95 per day (Depending on Experience) ~ Term time only ~ Clear DBS (or willingness to apply) Monitor learner progress and provide feedback to teaching staff. Help maintain a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment for all. Follow all policies and procedures on a daily basis. Passionate about supporting learning and young people to succeed. Confident building positive relationships with learners. Willing to learn and develop through training and hands on experience. Experienced working with children or young people is beneficial, but not essential. An Enhanced DBS check is required, or you must be willing to apply for one.
