COVER TEACHER
Location: Strood, Medway
Work: Flexible / As Required
Setting: Primary School - KS1 & KS2
We are looking for a confident and adaptable Cover Teacher to support a primary school in Strood on an as-and-when-needed basis.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher who enjoys working across different year groups and can confidently step into a classroom, deliver lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working within a primary school setting
- QTS or relevant teaching qualifications
- Confidence working across KS1 and KS2
- A strong understanding of the primary school curriculum
- The ability to follow lesson plans and deliver engaging learning
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A confident, flexible and adaptable approach
- The ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Driving is preferred
Safeguarding Requirements:
- A valid enhanced DBS is required
- Candidates must either have a suitable DBS already in place or be willing to apply for a new enhanced DBS
- References and safeguarding checks will be completed as part of the recruitment process
