Academics are currently supporting a primary school (located in Newcastle-under-Lyme) that is looking for a mixed class Year 2 & Year 3 Teacher to cover initially for 12 weeks. To be considered for this particular teaching role you MUST: Have UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) and excellent knowledge of both the upper Key Stage 1 curriculum and lower Key Stage 2 curriculum. Be able to hold full class responsibilities and to be able to plan and deliver well-structured and engaging lessons. Be confident working with mixed age/year groups. Have strong behaviour management skills. Promote happiness, self-reliance, and to be able to encourage and motivate positive interactions. Be able to work effectively as part of a team. Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or you will be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).Please be aware that your daily rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, training, and the client rate that is currently available.
