As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, trauma, and behavioural challenges. You'll play an important role in helping pupils feel secure, engaged, and confident both academically and emotionally.

Role Details:

  • Position: Mental Health Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Newbury
  • Pay: £90-£105 per day
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Full-time, long-term role
  • Supporting children and young people aged 3-19

The successful Mental Health Teaching Assistant will deliver one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils regulate their emotions, improve resilience, and access learning successfully.
