Are you a qualified Music Teacher looking for a new, exciting long-term role from September? At Academics, we are proud to be working in partnership with a supportive secondary school in the Stoke-on-Trent area that is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher. This role will initially run from September through to December on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Music lessons across KS3-KS4
  • Inspire students and build confidence in both musical performance and theory
  • Maintain positive classroom behaviour and strong student engagement
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Contribute to the wider success of the department (e.g., extracurricular activities)

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) in Music
  • Recent experience teaching Music across KS3-KS4
  • A genuine passion for music education and student development
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of mixed abilities
