Do you have a proven track record of teaching Design Technology in a secondary school? Academics are actively looking for enthusiastic Design Technology Teachers who are now looking to gain day-to-day, short, long term or permanent assignments within our partnership secondary schools in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
Whether this is a long-term contract, permanent or more week-by-week supply, we have work for you! Our opportunities are great as they allow our teachers to be flexible with the days that they wish to work and these roles can be ideal for DT Early Career Teachers (ECTSs) as these roles historically have led to more long-term and permanent roles in some of the schools we work with.
We are currently welcoming applications from Design Technology Teachers with specialisms in:
- Food and Nutrition
- Textiles
- Resistant Materials
- Product Design
Roles Requirements:
- Have Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
- Be familiar with the National Curriculum and the Design Technology Programmes of study
- Have strong classroom management with excellent subject knowledge and the ability to teach and inspire positive learning attitudes
- Be able to adapt quickly to a new school environment and be a good team player
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the update service or be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with ourselves (cost applied)
