Mental Health Assistant/Teaching Assistant - Wokingham

Are you interested in supporting children with Mental Health issues? Would you like to build your experience working with Complex Needs and work alongside trained therapists, counsellors and psychologists?
Responsibilities
- Support children with mental health issues and behaviour in a SEN setting.
- Work alongside therapists, counsellors and psychologists on-site to learn and shadow sessions.
- Provide consistent, child-centred support to SEMH pupils aged 4 to 11.
- Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, resilience and effective communication in a challenging environment.
Qualifications
- Ideal for graduates in Psychology, Counselling, Criminology or related fields.
- Experience with SEN or complex needs is desirable but not essential.
- Level 3 qualifications+ required; a Degree is desirable.
- Willingness to work with SEMH-focused provision and to be mentored by on-site therapists.

- Location: Wokingham, Berkshire.
- Role type: Full-time, Mon-Fri 8:30am to 3:00pm.
- Salary: £85-£100 per day.
