We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support schools across Rochester, Gillingham and the wider Medway area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support pupils in the classroom, helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment. You may work with individual pupils, small groups or support the wider class.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
- Working one-to-one with pupils or in small groups
- Helping pupils with their learning, development and confidence
- Supporting children with additional needs, including SEND, where required
- Encouraging positive behaviour and participation
- Assisting with classroom preparation and resources
- Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
- Building positive relationships with pupils, teachers and school staff
Working Hours: The standard working day is 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, during term time.

- Comfortable supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs
