Quantum Scholars are working closely with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Wokingham and are currently seeking experienced Maths SEND tutors to support students accessing alternative provision (AP) or Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS). We are receiving regular referrals for Maths tuition throughout the week, typically across five days, with around 2-3 hours of tuition per day. We're particularly interested in tutors who are available Monday to Friday and can commit to delivering 2-3 hours of Maths tuition daily.
This role involves supporting pupils who are not currently in mainstream education. Many of the students have additional needs, including SEND, ADHD, autism, SEMH, behavioural challenges, or medical conditions. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work one-to-one with learners, delivering tailored Maths sessions that help build confidence, strengthen core numeracy skills, and support their transition back into education. Sessions usually take place in the pupil's home or a suitable community setting, with potential for online tuition opportunities in the future.
Tutors will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons that meet each learner's individual needs.
