We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / SEN Teaching Assistant to join supportive schools in Heybridge. We welcome applicants with experience in Primary or Secondary education, as well as candidates with transferable skills and a passion for supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
  • Support pupils with needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and learning needs
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement support plans
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support behaviour management and student wellbeing
  • Encourage confidence, independence, and progress

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting children or young people in Primary or Secondary settings
  • Has SEN experience or a strong interest in supporting additional needs

  • Understanding of EHCPs and SEN strategies
