Job Responsibilities as a Behaviour Support Worker Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioural support to students with a range of additional needs, including challenging behaviour, emotional difficulties, and behavioural regulation needs. Support students to develop positive behaviour, emotional regulation, resilience, confidence, and social skills. Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and SEN professionals to implement individual behaviour support plans and strategies. Build positive and trusting relationships with students, providing consistent encouragement and reassurance.What we're looking for in a Behaviour Support Worker Compassionate and empathetic - able to understand and respond sensitively to students with a range of behavioural and additional needs. Patient and supportive - able to provide consistent reassurance, encouragement, and boundaries, particularly when students are experiencing challenging emotions or behaviours.
