Are you a nurturing, enthusiastic and reliable childcare professional looking for flexibility and variety in your work? Would you like to choose where and when you work while still making a positive impact in Early Years settings? Academics is currently recruiting Level 3 Nursery Assistants to work across a range of warm, friendly and well-established nurseries in the Macclesfield and surrounding areas (including Congleton, Alderley Edge, Wilmslow and Poynton).
Whether you're looking for part-time flexibility, full-time hours or occasional cover, we will work with you to find placements that suit your schedule and your preferences. You'll have the opportunity to join caring nursery teams, supporting children aged 0-5 in their play, development and learning, while helping to create safe, stimulating and engaging environments.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting children's development through play-based learning and high-quality interactions
- Assisting with daily routines and promoting a safe, nurturing atmosphere
- Planning or contributing to activities that support the EYFS framework
- Building warm, positive relationships with children, staff and families
- Being a reliable, friendly and supportive member of the nursery team
This role is ideal if you:
- Hold a Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (required)
- Hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate (required)
- Are passionate about Early Years and child development
- Feel confident working with babies, toddlers or preschool-aged children
