This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Computer Science teacher who is confident delivering engaging, innovative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (maybe KS5 if willing). The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring students to develop computational thinking, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of the digital world within a dynamic and supportive department.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Computer Science across KS3 and KS4 (there may also be opportunities to teach to A-Level)
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge, including programming and core computing concepts
- Be passionate about delivering high-quality, engaging Computer Science education
- Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Be committed to supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
- Have a proactive approach to contributing to the wider school community
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach a range of topics including programming, algorithms, data representation, and computational thinking
