The predicted salary is between 20 - 30 £ per hour.

We are currently recruiting qualified teachers and experienced tutors to deliver personalised 1:1 and small-group tuition to primary and secondary-aged learners across Ruislip and the wider Hillingdon borough. These opportunities involve supporting young people who are currently outside of mainstream education, including pupils accessing EOTAS and Alternative Provision pathways, as well as learners with SEND and SEMH needs. As referrals continue to increase throughout the academic year and ahead of September, we are looking to expand our network of dedicated tutors.

Please note: applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available.

The Role
  • Provide tuition in core subjects including English, Maths, and Science
  • Support learners across both primary and secondary age groups
  • Sessions take place during school hours, so daytime availability is essential
  • Work with pupils with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, and emotionally based school avoidance
  • Deliver sessions in a variety of settings including homes, schools, community venues, and online
  • Flexible placements available, with many referrals offering up to 5 days per week (around 3 hours daily)
Requirements
  • QTS / QTLS or strong previous tutoring experience
  • Experience working with SEND, EOTAS, or Alternative Provision learners is highly desirable
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
  • Strong safeguarding awareness and understanding
  • Ability to travel within the Hillingdon area
  • A degree in the subject area being delivered is advantageous
