Quantum Scholars is currently recruiting experienced SEND Tutors, SEMH Tutors, and Learning Mentors to provide personalised 1:1 and small-group tuition for primary and secondary-aged pupils across Hayes and the wider Hillingdon area. These opportunities involve supporting young people who are currently outside of mainstream education, including learners accessing EOTAS provision, as well as pupils with SEND, SEMH needs, autism, ADHD, anxiety, and school avoidance. Due to growing demand, we have immediate tuition opportunities available, with new referrals continuing throughout the academic year and into September.

The Role

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 or small-group tuition in core subjects including English, Maths, and Science
  • Support primary and secondary-aged pupils with additional needs
  • Work with learners with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, emotionally based school avoidance, and alternative provision needs
  • Deliver sessions within pupils' homes, schools, community settings, or online
  • Flexible opportunities available, with many referrals offering up to 5 days per week (approximately 3 hours per day)

Please note: This is not a permanent full-time role. Tuition work is offered on a flexible, zero-hours basis, with assignments provided as referrals become available.

Requirements

  • QTS / QTLS or strong tutoring experience
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, EOTAS, or alternative provision backgrounds is highly desirable
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and understanding
  • Ability to travel across Hayes and the wider Hillingdon area
  • Full Right to Work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available)
