Academics is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school seeking a dedicated

SENCo to lead and develop its SEND provision.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive leadership team where inclusion is at the heart of school life.

You\'ll play a key role in shaping SEND strategy, supporting staff, delivering targeted interventions, and ensuring every pupil receives the support they need to thrive.

The Role

  • Lead and manage SEND provision across the school.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to drive an inclusive approach.
  • Support teachers and coordinate effective interventions.
  • Deliver small-group intervention sessions and occasional cover teaching.
  • Build positive relationships with parents, carers and external professionals.
  • Required qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • NASENCo qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience leading SEND provision, ideally within a primary setting.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and inclusive practice.
  • A passionate leader committed to achieving the best outcomes for every child.
