A specialist independent SEN school in North London is seeking an experienced and nurturing Science Teacher to join its team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026, although an earlier start may be available for the right candidate.
The school supports students aged 11-19 with a range of additional needs, including SEMH and SEN, many of whom have experienced challenges within mainstream education and present with gaps in learning. This is not a traditional mainstream secondary science position. The successful candidate will be teaching students working across a wide range of abilities, often below age-related expectations, and supporting them to make meaningful academic and personal progress towards GCSEs or other suitable pathways.
