A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harrow (HA3) is seeking a Primary Maths Leader to join the team from September on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about maths teaching and learning and is ready to take on subject leadership across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the teaching and learning of mathematics across KS1 and KS2 as the Primary Maths Leader
  • Deliver high-quality classroom teaching alongside leadership responsibilities
  • Support colleagues with planning, assessment and subject knowledge development
  • Monitor pupil progress in maths and contribute to whole-school improvement
  • Work collaboratively with senior leaders to embed a consistent and ambitious maths curriculum

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
  • A strong understanding of effective maths pedagogy
  • Ready to take on or further develop a leadership responsibility as Primary Maths Leader
