Are you interested in supporting children with Mental Health issues? Would you like to build your experience working with Complex Needs and work alongside trained therapists, counsellors and psychologists?
Responsibilities
- Support children with mental health issues and behaviour in a SEN setting
- Work alongside therapists, counsellors and psychologists on-site to learn and shadow sessions
- Provide consistent, child-centred support to SEMH pupils aged 4 to 11
- Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, resilience and effective communication in a challenging environment
Qualifications
- Ideal for graduates in Psychology, Counselling, Criminology or related fields
- Experience with SEN or complex needs is desirable but not essential
- Level 3 qualifications+ required; a Degree is desirable
- Willingness to work with SEMH-focused provision and to be mentored by on-site therapists
