The predicted salary is between 15600 - 24000 £ per year.
Quantum Scholars are working alongside a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based near the Bracknell area who are seeking a qualified teacher to support four KS3 pupils in Maths and English. This will be for around 2-3 hours per day, Monday - Thursday. This is a long-term, full-time position starting ASAP. Due to the nature of the role, you must have your own transport, as tuition will take place across two different school sites.
The Role
- Deliver engaging, structured Maths and English lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
- Work with small groups (up to 4 pupils) in a supportive and controlled environment
- Plan, prepare, and adapt lessons to meet KS3 curriculum requirements
- Manage behaviour positively and create a safe learning space
- Track pupil progress and provide regular feedback
- Work closely with PRU staff and school teams across both sites
- Support pupils with emotional and behavioural needs to help them re-engage with learning
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching/tutoring KS3 Maths and/or English
- Ability to engage and motivate pupils with additional needs
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Own transport (essential)
- Applicants must hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate
- Must have a Right to Work in the UK! - Sponsorship is not available for this role.
