Are you a Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant looking for a new role starting in May 2026? Are you a qualified EYFS practitioner with a Level 3 in Early Years, Childcare, or Teaching Assistant studies? Are you seeking a full-time, term-time position in a welcoming and supportive private nursery in Lambeth?

Academics is proud to be working with a fantastic private nursery in Lambeth. We are currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Nursery team from May 2026. This role will involve supporting children within the Early Years setting, including working closely with some pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Role Details
  • Start Date: May 2026
  • Location: Lambeth, London
  • Contract: Full-time, Term-time
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4pm
  • Pay: £95-£105 per day (dependent on experience)
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Have proven experience working in Early Years settings, ideally within a nursery or primary school environment.
  • Demonstrate experience supporting children with SEN, including adapting activities, using differentiated strategies, and providing personalised support.
  • Be enthusiastic, caring, and patient, with a genuine passion for supporting children's educational, social, and emotional development.
