Academics is proud to be working in partnership with a vibrant, inclusive, and high-performing primary school in Fulham, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from February 2026.
- Location: Fulham
- Start Date: February 2026
- Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Pay: £95-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
The Role & Candidate Requirements
In this role, you will work closely with class teachers to provide high-quality classroom support to KS2 pupils, offering small-group and one-to-one support to help pupils engage with their learning, complete tasks, and make strong academic progress. You will promote inclusive learning and positive behaviour management strategies, support pupils' social and emotional development, assist with both classroom and non-classroom activities, and help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
The successful candidate will have experience working with children in a school or similar setting (KS2 experience is highly desirable), be a proactive and motivated Teaching Assistant keen to make a positive impact in a flourishing primary school, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Graduates with a strong interest in education are encouraged to apply. Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential, along with an enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one.
