Are you an experienced primary Assistant Head / SENCO looking for a part-time role to start this September in the borough of Wandsworth?
This is a 1-year fixed term contract - Maternity Cover, with Leadership L1 to L4 Inner London - Pro rata.
Academics are currently working with a very successful Primary school in Wandsworth to recruit an experienced Assistant Head and SENCo to join their team this September. This role would suit an experienced Primary Assistant Head / SENCO with a SENCO qualification, who would enjoy working in a primary school that is 1 form entry.
The school has an experienced Senior Leadership team who, along with the teaching and support staff, go the extra mile to ensure all children are challenged and supported to learn with an exciting curriculum and lots of fun along the way. All children, including those with barriers to learning, make excellent progress.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A SENCO qualification.
- Ability to create and deliver Educational Health Plans.
- Capability to work effectively with SLT, staff, parents/carers, and visiting specialists to provide excellent care, support, and effective interventions for children with SEN.
- Excellent team management skills.
In return, the school offers excellent further CPD to enhance your career. This role is a one-year maternity cover for the full academic year and is a part-time 4-day per week role.
