Are you a caring and adaptable Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? We are looking for dedicated SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work in Early Years settings across Barry, providing vital support for pupils with complex needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils with ALN and complex needs
  • Assist with communication, social, and emotional development
  • Support learning activities under teacher and SENCO guidance
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with ALN/complex needs (Early Years desirable)
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
  • Enhanced DBS (Update Service or willing to apply)
  • Two professional references
