Are you passionate about making a difference in a child\βs life? We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a team in Luton from September 2025 on a fixed-term contract for one year.
About the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Position:
Here at Academics we are looking for individuals with qualities that can make a great Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a child on a 1:1 basis, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing so they can thrive both in and out of the classroom. The successful candidate will also support the wider class team where needed. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:45am β 3:30pm (31.25 hours per week), including lunchtime duties, during term time only.
Who we are looking for:

* Proactive, resourceful and able to use their own initiative

Essential Requirements:
* A genuine passion for helping children succeed
* DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one.
* Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
* Organised, patient, and resilient
* Willingness to supervise children during lunch and break times
* Commitment to continuous professional development and training (including first aid)
* Live in or near Luton, Bedfordshire
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience working with children with special educational needs
* A relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (training can be provided)
* Experience supporting pupils with an EHCP on a 1:1 basis
