GCSE Tutor - Part-Time Temporary Role

Are you an experienced GCSE Tutor looking for a flexible opportunity where you can make a real difference to learners?
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Tutors to support students across multiple areas of Kent. This role would suit an experienced education professional with a strong understanding of the secondary curriculum, particularly at GCSE, and ideally with experience supporting Key Stage 3 / 4 learners.
You'll be confident creating engaging, structured lesson plans and adapting your teaching approach to meet individual students' needs, abilities and learning goals.
About the role
As a Tutor, you will:
- Deliver engaging and purposeful GCSE tutoring sessions.
- Support Key Stage 3 / 4 learners, where required.
- Create and adapt lesson plans to suit individual students and their learning objectives.
- Help students build confidence, develop their subject knowledge and achieve their academic potential.
- Monitor progress and adapt your approach to support continued development.
- Build positive, professional relationships with students.
- Provide a safe, supportive and motivating learning environment.
About you
- Has previous experience working in an education setting.
- Has experience tutoring or teaching at GCSE and/or A-Level.
- Ideally has experience working with Key Stage 3 / 4 students.
- Is confident creating and delivering effective lesson plans.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about supporting young people.
- Can adapt their teaching style to different learning needs and abilities.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is able to work flexibly across relevant areas of Kent.
