Are you passionate about nurturing the development of young children? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner or a Level 3 TA for a long-term role, starting in September 2026, in one of our private day nurseries based in North Leeds. The position is for one term until Christmas 2026 initially. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and motivated Early Years Practitioner/Level 3 TA to become part of a supportive team that values creativity, inclusivity, and child-centred learning. You will play a vital role in supporting the emotional, social and educational development of children in the early years setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as an Early Years Practitioner within the nursery to support children's learning and development
  • Deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Observe and assess individual progress, tailoring support to meet the needs of each child
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents and staff
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment

Requirements:

  • Relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
  • Previous experience working as an Early Years Practitioner in a school or nursery setting
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A current DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
