Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Specialist Resource Base (SRB) Specialising in Autism and Behavioural Challenges We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our Specialist Resource Base (SRB), which supports pupils with Autism and behavioural challenges within a nurturing primary school environment. Key Responsibilities : Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to pupils with Autism and behavioural needs. Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development. Essential Requirements : Experience working in a primary school setting with pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). Proven ability to manage and support challenging behaviours effectively. Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) . A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Desirable Qualifications and Experience : Experience in a 1:1 support role . A recognised Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification
