About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting children in the later stages of primary school? We\βre looking for enthusiastic and adaptable KS2 Teaching Assistants to join our supply team, working in Key Stage 2 classrooms across a range of Hull primary schools.
This flexible, supply-based role offers a mix of ad hoc, short-term, and long-term placements-ideal for individuals who enjoy variety and are committed to helping pupils thrive academically and personally during these important school years.
Key Responsibilities
* Support a positive, focused, and inclusive learning environment for KS2 pupils.
* Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons that follow the KS2 national curriculum.
* Assist children with their learning in subjects such as English, maths, science, and humanities.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support, tailored to individual learning needs.
* Encourage good behaviour, independence, and resilience in line with school expectations.
* Help with classroom organisation, resource preparation, and day-to-day activities.
* Observe and report on pupil progress to teaching staff.
* Contribute to maintaining the safety and well-being of all pupils in your care.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with KS2 pupils is essential.
* A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
* Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and key learning outcomes.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Confidence working in different schools and adapting to various classroom settings.
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
* Availability from September 25 onward.
