Experienced KS2 Teacher Wanted for September
With the new academic year just two weeks away, we're looking for a confident and experienced KS2 Teacher to work across primary schools in Ellesmere Port. This role would suit a teacher who knows the KS2 curriculum inside and out, is confident stepping into different classrooms, and has a strong understanding of the expectations and standards required at this stage of primary education.
We're particularly interested in teachers with experience preparing pupils for SATs, including a good understanding of assessment, progress tracking and the demands of Year 6.
The ideal teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- An up-to-date DBS check
- Proven experience teaching across Key Stage 2
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
- Experience with SATs preparation and assessment
- A good understanding of assessment, attainment and pupil progress
- The confidence to quickly establish routines and relationships in different school environments
- A flexible and adaptable approach to supply teaching
- Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
- A genuine commitment to supporting pupils to achieve their potential
