About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistants to join our pool of supply staff, supporting primary schools across Goole. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a variety of educational settings, assisting teachers in delivering engaging and effective learning experiences for young students. As a supply Teaching Assistant, you will be called upon to cover absences and provide extra support as required.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in delivering planned lessons and activities to engage children in their learning.
* Support small groups and individual students to help them meet their learning goals.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
* Work closely with class teachers to ensure a safe and productive learning space.
* Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
* Provide additional support to children with special educational needs, where necessary.

Requirements

* Experience working with young children in an educational setting, ideally within Key Stage 1.
* A positive, flexible attitude and a passion for helping children learn.
* Ability to adapt to different school environments and work effectively with various teaching staff.
* An understanding of safeguarding practices and a commitment to the well-being of all children.
* Relevant qualifications (such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential.
