We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to start from ASAP/September/January in a highly regarded school, with opportunities available on a permanent, supply, or day-to-day basis.

Position: Maths Teacher (Permanent/Supply/Day to Day)

Area: Caterham/Croydon

Year Group: KS3 / KS4 / (KS5 optional)

Salary: 34,397 - 52,489 per annum / 160 - 250 per day

Contract: Permanent / Supply / Day to Day

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with KS5 optional)
  • Promote problem-solving, analytical thinking, and numeracy skills
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve their academic potential
  • Create a positive and focused learning environment
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive Maths department

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related subject
  • ESSENTIAL - QTS or equivalent and experience teaching in a Secondary School
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to raising achievement and delivering high-quality lessons
